सञ्जय उवाच एवमुक्त्वा हृषीकेशं गुडाकेशः परन्तप। न योत्स्य इति गोविन्दमुक्त्वा तूष्णीं बभूव ह।।2.9।।

Translation (अनुवाद)
Sanjaya said: Thus having spoken to Hṛṣīkeśa (another name for Krishna), Guḍākeśa (Arjuna, conqueror of sleep), the tormentor of enemies, expressed his firm decision, "I will not fight," and spoke to Govinda (Krishna), he became silent.
अर्जुन ने श्रीकृष्ण के साथ चर्चा करके अपने मन में निर्णय किया कि वे युद्ध नहीं करेंगे और यह कहकर श्रीकृष्ण के सामने मौन धारण कर लिया।

In this verse, Sanjaya narrates Arjuna's expression of his decision not to fight the war.
