Sloka (श्लोक)

धृष्टकेतुश्चेकितानः काशिराजश्च वीर्यवान्।
पुरुजित्कुन्तिभोजश्च शैब्यश्च नरपुङ्गवः।।1.5।।

Commentary (टीका)

In this sloka, Lord Krishna is listing many warriors who are allies of the Pandavas and who stand ready for battle. Dhṛṣṭaketu is mentioned as one of the warriors, belonging to the Chedi Kingdom; Cekitāna is renowned and a part of the army in favor of the Pandavas.

The King of Kāśi is acknowledged as valorous, adding to the strength of the Pandava's side.
