Commentary (टीका)

In this verse, the devotee expresses reverence towards *Govinda*, acknowledged as the *Sadguru* or true teacher who embodies supreme bliss (*paramānanda*). This figure is portrayed as omniscient and transcendent, capable of comprehending all Vedantic principles, which are the ultimate truths of the philosophical teachings derived from the *Vedas*. Furthermore, *Govinda* is described as being beyond darkness (*tam-agocaram*), metaphorically indicating the elimination of ignorance. This highlights the spiritual stature of *Govinda* as a guide and illuminator on the path to enlightenment.
