नित्यमनित्यभावादनित्ये नित्यत्वोपपत्तेर्नित्यसमः

यह सूत्र बताता है कि जो वस्तु अनित्य (अस्थायी) है, उसमें नित्यत्व (शाश्वतता) नहीं हो सकती, क्योंकि उसमें अस्थायित्व का भाव (अनित्यभाव) है। नित्यत्व की सिद्धि वहाँ संभव नहीं है, अतः अनित्य वस्तु नित्य के समान नहीं हो सकती।
English
This sūtra explains that in things which are non-eternal (impermanent), eternality cannot be present, because they possess the nature of impermanence. The establishment of eternality is not possible there, and therefore, the non-eternal cannot be considered equal to the eternal.
