यह सूत्र कहता है कि नासिका (नाक) केश, नख आदि से भिन्न है, क्योंकि उनके अभाव की प्रतीति (अनुपलब्धि) से यह भिन्नता जानी जाती है। अर्थात्, नाक को बाल या नाखून के रूप में नहीं जाना जाता, क्योंकि जब बाल या नाखून नहीं होते, तब भी नाक की उपस्थिति का ज्ञान होता है।

This sūtra states that the nose is distinct from hair, nails, and similar entities, and this distinction is established through the cognition of their absence (non-perception). In other words, the nose is not identified as hair or nails, because even when hair or nails are absent, the presence of the nose is still recognized.
