इस सूत्र में न्यायशास्त्र के अनुसार ‘कालातीत’ (समय के पार चला गया) का अर्थ स्पष्ट किया गया है। ‘कालात्ययापदिष्ट’ वह है जो निर्धारित समय सीमा के उल्लंघन के बाद निर्दिष्ट या स्वीकार किया गया हो। अर्थात्, कोई भी वस्तु, कार्य या प्रमाण जो समयसीमा समाप्त होने के बाद स्वीकार किया जाए, उसे ‘कालातीत’ कहा जाता है।

In this sūtra, the Nyāya text clarifies the meaning of ‘kālātīta’ (that which is beyond the prescribed time). ‘Kālātyayāpadiṣṭa’ refers to something that is prescribed or accepted after the lapse of the designated time-limit. Thus, anything—such as an act, object, or proof—accepted after the expiration of the stipulated time is termed ‘kālātīta’.
