Translation (अनुवाद)
Just as stones, trees, grass, grains, and metals are burnt and become like dust, in the same way, the entire visible world including the body, senses, life, and mind, when burned by the fire of knowledge, attains the state of the supreme self.

Commentary (टीका)
This sloka draws parallels between the physical and metaphysical worlds. It elaborates on how mundane entities like stones and metals, when subjected to fire, are reduced to dust. Similarly, through the metaphorical fire of jñāna (knowledge), the entirety of one's perceptible existence—including the deha (body), indriya (senses), asu (life force), and man (mind)—undergoes a transformative incineration, losing its individual finite identity and merging with the parātma-bhāvam (state of the supreme self). This highlights the potency of knowledge in realizing one's unity with the ultimate reality, transcending visible manifestations to perceive the universal self. The process symbolizes liberation from material attachments and the recognition of one's inner divinity.
