Commentary (टीका)

In this verse, the nature of a sage who remains in the state of 'upadarśana' or witnessing is described. *He neither indulges nor detaches his senses from objects*, signifying an effortless state of being where external phenomena do not disturb one's inner stillness. *He does not concern himself with the results of actions*, reflecting total dispassion and surrender to the workings of the universe. The state of mind of such a soul is described as being intoxicated with the bliss of the self, illustrating the profound and uninterrupted joy that comes from inner realization and detachment from material outcomes.
