Commentary (टीका)
This verse vividly describes the plight of those who are trapped in *viṣaya* (sense objects) due to their deep-seated *rāga* (attachment). Such individuals, termed *mūḍhāḥ* (deluded ones), are subjugated by the unyielding and powerful snare of desires and are thus driven by their accumulated *karma* (deeds). The verse metaphorically highlights the cyclical motion of life, where these individuals, dictated by their past actions, move turbulently up and down, akin to being tossed by their actions in the wheel of samsara, the cycle of birth and rebirth. It illustrates the importance of transcending these attachments to achieve true liberation and stability.
