इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जब प्रमाण की सिद्धि पहले ही हो चुकी है, तब इन्द्रिय और विषय के संनिकर्ष से प्रत्यक्ष ज्ञान की उत्पत्ति नहीं होती। अर्थात्, प्रमाण के सिद्ध हो जाने के बाद इन्द्रियार्थ संनिकर्ष प्रत्यक्ष का कारण नहीं बनता।
