इस सूत्र में न्यायाचार्य कहते हैं कि हमारे मत में, परिभाषा में जो अपेक्षा निहित है, उसकी सिद्धि हो जाती है। अर्थात्, किसी वस्तु की परिभाषा में जो संबंध या अपेक्षा होती है, वह हमारे दृष्टिकोण से प्रमाणित है।

In this sūtra, the Nyāya teacher states that, according to our doctrine, the dependence or requirement situated within the definition is established. That is, the relation or dependence inherent in the definition of an entity is, from our perspective, validated.
