इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि जैसे व्यक्ति अपने और अपने विषय के बीच में अभिमान (धारणा या मान्यता) करता है, वैसे ही प्रमाण (ज्ञान का साधन) और प्रमेय (ज्ञेय वस्तु) के बीच भी अभिमान (ग्रहण या मान्यता) होता है। अर्थात्, जिस प्रकार &amp;#039;मैं और मेरा&amp;#039; की धारणा बनती है, उसी प्रकार प्रमाण और प्रमेय के संबंध में भी मान्यता का निर्माण होता है।&lt;br /&gt;

This sūtra states that just as there is an attribution or assumption regarding oneself and one’s object (self-object attribution), in a similar manner, there is an attribution concerning the means of knowledge (pramāṇa) and the object of knowledge (prameya). That is, the relationship or assumption between pramāṇa and prameya is constructed in the same way as the assumption between self and its object.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
