इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि यदि पाणिनि द्वारा निर्धारित कारण का संयोग हो, तो शब्द के अभाव में भी अनुपलब्धि नहीं होती। अर्थात्, केवल शब्द का न होना ही अनुपलब्धि (अज्ञान) का कारण नहीं बनता, जब तक कि पाणिनि के व्याकरणीय कारण का संयोग उपस्थित हो।

This sūtra states that when there is conjunction with the cause as specified by Pāṇini (i.e., a grammatical or rule-based cause), the mere absence of a word does not result in non-cognition. In other words, non-cognition (anupalabdhi) does not arise solely due to the absence of a word, as long as the conjunction with the grammatical cause is present.
